Jason A. Gazewood, of Gazewood & Weiner PC, is a skilled attorney who is dedicated to helping clients in the Fairbanks, Alaska, area with a diverse range of legal issues. Before deciding to enter the field of law, Mr. Gazewood worked in the broadcasting industry as sports anchor, weekend anchor and reporter. He also earned a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of South Carolina before attending Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, he gained experience by working for The Wozniak Law Group, P.C., in Mendon, Massachusetts. Upon law school graduation, Mr. Gazewood moved to Alaska, where he worked in a variety of different legal settings. He spent five years as a prosecutor in the Fairbanks district attorney’s office and was a partner at Levengood & Gazewood PC from 2007 to 2009. In his current practice, he helps his clients with a wide range of legal matters, including criminal law, bankruptcy,* family law, personal injury and estate planning. Always actively involved in his community, Mr. Gazewood is a member of several professional and community organizations. He has served as both president and vice president of the Tanana Valley Bar Association. He has also served on the board of directors of the Midnight Sun Run and Fairbanks Counseling & Adoption. Mr. Gazewood is also active in sports, and is the former head coach of the Lathrop High School football team. *Mr. Gazewood is a debt relief agent.
