A business litigation attorney who handles all types of disputes, Francis Ryu represents those in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and county as an integral part of The Ryu Law Firm. Experienced in both finance and forensic accounting, he has a background in investment banking that gives him strength in complex business lawsuits. Fluent in both Korean and English, Mr. Ryu has served on the board of the following organizations throughout his career: the Los Angeles Athletic Club, Public Counsel, Mental Health Advocacy Services Inc., Beverly Hills Bar Foundation and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.Mr. Ryu graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts before attending law school. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law and a Master of Laws from the McGeorge School of Law. Former president of the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Barristers, he also served as president of the Young Lawyers Division of The State Bar of California.Within The State Bar of California, he formerly worked on the Diversity in the Profession Task Force, the Civility Task Force, the Insurance Disclosure Task Force and the Access to Legal Services Task Force. Mr. Ryu also leads frequent seminars and teaches general business law at association gatherings of Asian business professionals.
