Attorney Claudia Lagos is a partner at the law firm of Scully and Lagos in Boston, Massachusetts. Claudia specializes in criminal defense, representing clients in Boston and throughout Massachussetts in both state and federal court. Claudia has successfully defended a wide variety of cases, including, but not limited to crimes of violence, operating under the influence of alcohol (OUI), drug offenses, fraud, sex offenses, and robberies. She is known for her thorough preparation of every case and impressive advocacy in court. Before working at Scully and Lagos, Claudia spent a couple years at the public defender's office defending indigent clients accused of crimes. Prior to becoming an attorney, Claudia earned her law degree from the highly-regarded Boston College Law School. There, she was a member of the Boston College Mock Trial Team, where she was awarded for her oral advocacy skills. During law school, Claudia also gained legal experience at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she handled cases involving the intersection of immigration and domestic violence prosecutions. She also served as an intern for the New Hampshire Public Defender, where her passion for criminal defense first developed. Claudia earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she graduated with honors. She is admitted to practice in all Massachusetts state courts, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and has represented clients in both state and federal courts.Claudia is fluent in Spanish and English, allowing her to better represent a diverse variety of clients.
