Parag L. Amin is the principal attorney at his own law firm that is located in downtown Los Angeles. Providing representation to individuals and businesses throughout Southern California, his varied practice encompasses personal injury and wrongful death litigation, employment law, and business litigation and transactions.Mr. Amin assists clients who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties in cases arising out of truck and other motor vehicle crashes, defective drugs and medical devices, pedestrian knockdowns, premises liability, and construction and other job site accidents. In his employment law practice, he represents people who have faced workplace discrimination due to their race, religion, gender, disability or pregnancy. He also pursues wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and he represents whistleblowers who have been wrongfully terminated or otherwise retaliated against. Mr. Amin's business litigation experience includes contract breaches, real estate disputes, intellectual property infringement and shareholder actions, and he has represented buyers and sellers in acquisitions.As an undergraduate, Mr. Amin attended the University of Maryland, where he majored in finance and received a Bachelor of Science in 2008. While in college, he spent a summer as an investments intern with Morgan Stanley. He then went on to pursue a legal education at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2011. After graduation, Mr. Amin was a contract attorney at well-known international law firms before forming his own firm in October 2012. Admitted to practice before all California state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
