- As partner at Fersch LLC, Maxine F. Donskoi handles matters of family law and divorce. She represents the people of the New York metropolitan area as they deal with emotionally intense issues and navigate the legal system. In her practice, Ms. Donskoi negotiates separation, settlement, postnuptial and prenuptial agreements; handles custody and access and uncontested divorces; and manages cases of equitable distribution, divorce negotiation and litigation, and child and spousal support issues.In 2016, the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys awarded Ms. Donskoi with the Client Satisfaction Award, and she has received recognition that only 2.5% of the lawyers in the state receive. She represents clients in federal and state courts from the five boroughs of New York City: Manhattan Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx.A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Donskoi became a member of the New York State Bar Association shortly after earning her Juris Doctor. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of New Jersey as well as New York, and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Actively invested in improving the legal profession, she is a member of the Women’s Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.With almost a decade of experience, Ms. Donskoi is a knowledgeable, aggressive advocate for her clients.
