As an attorney with extensive international and information technology experience, Marvin Kirby (Trey) Roberts III is a partner at Anderson Roberts, PLLC. He handles cases that involve commercial and business law, intellectual property, international and transnational law, entertainment law, and IT and e-commerce issues. Licensed to practice for nearly a decade, Mr. Roberts is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar College, The District of Columbia Bar and the New York State Bar Association.Mr. Roberts’ career is rooted in an excellent education. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in international relations from Webster University Geneva in Switzerland. He earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2007 and was selected to spend his last year of law school at The University of Edinburgh, School of Law, where he earned a Master of Laws.While abroad, Mr. Roberts worked for the United States Mission to the United Nations. He later served as a consultant to the U.S. government regarding issues surrounding information technology and international trade. Having been raised by a family of attorneys in Texas, Mr. Roberts knew his calling was to guide clients through the matters he knows so well.When he is not with clients, Mr. Roberts is active with a number of professional organizations, such as the Washington International Trade Association, The American Society of International Law and the Austin Bar Association. He has a pending admission to the roll of solicitors for England and Wales, is a notary public, has U.S. security clearance and lectures at The University of Texas at Austin.
