- Marilynne R. Ryan is a founding partner of Ryan Faenza Carey, LLC, located in Walpole Massachusetts. Representing clients throughout the Boston area, she focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters, including divorce and the attendant legal issues such as alimony, child custody and support, and property division. Attorney Ryan has experience in alternative divorce dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative law, but she will also recommend settlement conferences or litigation to her clients where appropriate.Whether you are in the midst of a divorce, in need of family law services, or looking to buy/sell/refinance real estate, Ryan Faenza Carey can advise you, guide you and represent you every step of the way.After receiving her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Stonehill College in 1981, Attorney Ryan went on to attend New England School of Law in Boston and was awarded her Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 1986. At her law school commencement, Attorney Ryan was the recipient of the Dean Timothy J. Cronin, Jr. Memorial Award. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Supreme Court of the United States. A member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, she is also an active participant in the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Bar Association of Norfolk County. Attorney Ryan is equally devoted to her community and donates her time to several organizations, including serving as the chair of the Walpole Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee since 1991.
