Partner and founder at Law Offices of L. T. Baker, P.A., Lucas T. Baker represents those in Western North Carolina who have been injured by the negligence of another. The lead attorney in the personal injury section of the practice, Mr. Baker handles cases of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, and nursing home abuse and neglect. He also handles civil litigation matters when they arise for clients. Fluent in Spanish and English, Mr. Baker spends much of his time helping others as he works with The Concord Rotary Club, the board of directors of The Community Free Clinic, the Boy Scout Troop 3 and the Cabarrus Arts Council’s board of directors. He is also a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the Judicial District 19A Bar, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He was awarded the Southern Business Leader Top Entrepreneur Award in 2012.Mr. Baker earned his Bachelor of Science in fine and applied arts from Appalachian State University, graduating cum laude with a major in applied communication and a minor in general business. Moving on to the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, he graduated cum laude and fourth in his graduating class when he earned his Juris Doctor. During his time at law school, he was also managing editor for the Campbell Law Review.Bar admissions include all North Carolina state courts, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina. He has honed his skills as both a litigator and a trial lawyer with his past employment experience and passes those skills on to his clients with every case.
