Ms. Cummings is a skilled litigator and has extensive courtroom and trial experience, zealously advocating for clients in connection with divorce, child support, alimony, custody, domestic violence, modification and paternity matters. She has negotiated hundreds of settlement agreements on behalf of clients, assisting them in reaching a fair and equitable resolution in a swift and cost-effective manner. She is well respected as a zealous, practical and compassionate advocate, bringing a thorough knowledge of the law, exceptional problem solving skills, and sensitivity to the complexities and emotional realities of each client's situation.Ms. Cummings is steadfastly committed to public service and the betterment of the legal profession. She regularly serves as a faculty member and panelist for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education programs and Boston Bar Association Seminars. She has served on the Steering Committee of the Family Law Section of the Boston Bar Association where she held the position of Public Service Committee Co-Chair. Ms. Cummings frequently contributes pro bono services to the community through the Lawyer of the Day program in the Norfolk County Probate and Family Court and the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project for Battered Women.Ms. Cummings is actively involved in the Boston community and serves as a member of the Junior League of Boston and the Beacon Hill Civic Association.
