- Attorney Judy D. Snyder is the founder and owner of Judy Snyder's law offices in Portland, Oregon. Ms. Snyder is a highly rated and award-winning civil litigation attorney with over 40 years of legal experience. Her practice focuses primarily on personal injury and death, medical misconduct, legal violations, labor law and other civil law matters. She serves clients throughout the Portland area, as well as in the south and east of the state. Snyder began her legal career in 1973 after receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her license to practice at the Oregon State Bar. Before starting her private practice in 1978, she worked as a clerk for the US District Court judge Otto R. Skopil and as a prosecutor for the Multnomah District Prosecutor's Office. She is admitted to the US District Court for the District of Oregon and the US Appeals Court for the 9th Circuit. Ms. Snyder has been recognized as one of the foremost civil litigation attorneys in the area and has received a number of awards and honors for her professionalism and service, including the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association's Distinguished Trial Lawyer Award and the Oregon State Bar's Owen M. Panner Professionalism Award Litigation Section. Ms. Snyder is fully committed to her practice and has served in several professional legal organizations, and she was once the president of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the Multnomah Bar Association.
