Jorge J. Garcia is an attorney at the Miami office of Morgan & Morgan. Focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, he provides advice and counsel to clients throughout Miami-Dade County and other parts of the metropolitan area. Admitted to practice before all Florida state courts since 2012, Mr. Garcia is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.The clients that Mr. Garcia represents are people who have been harmed both economically and non-economically as a result of the negligence or recklessness of other parties. His cases in this regard have included truck, motorcycle and other motor vehicle crashes; slip-and-fall accidents and other types of premises liability; dog bites; and burn injuries. During his career, Mr. Garcia has been able to procure sizeable compensation for his plaintiff clients, both through jury verdicts and through settlements that he has negotiated outside of the courtroom with defendants and their insurance carriers. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan in May 2019, he spent several years as an attorney with insurance defense law firms, and this experience has allowed him to often anticipate the types of tactics that defense counsel will utilize now that he is representing injured plaintiffs.Born and raised in Miami and fluent in Spanish as well as in English, Mr. Garcia attended Florida State University in Tallahassee as an undergraduate, where he majored in biology and received a Bachelor of Science in 2008. His legal education was obtained at St. Thomas University School of Law, and he participated in regional and national Mock Trial competitions before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2012.
