- Sacramento, California, attorney Jennifer Duggan is a dedicated professional with more than 23 years of experience helping entrepreneurs and businesses. As the founding shareholder of Duggan Law Corporation, Ms. Duggan represents clients in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, San Joaquin and other surrounding counties in employment, business and civil litigation defense, as well as employment law advice and counsel.A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, Ms. Duggan has successfully represented both public and private entities in state and federal courts. She is admitted to practice in California state courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Central, Southern and Eastern districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.In addition to her law practice, Ms. Duggan is active in several professional and community organizations. She is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and Women Lawyers of Sacramento. She is a past President and board member of the Barristers' Club of the Sacramento County Bar Association.Committed to professional education, Ms. Duggan taught civil pretrial litigation at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law for almost ten years and recently taught The Business of Lawyering at UC Davis School of Law. She has also published a number of articles for professional journals and participated in many seminars and presentations.Ms. Duggan previously served as an advisory board member for the University of Oregon School of Law's Center for Law and Entrepreneurship. She also served on the Women Lawyers of Sacramento's No Glass Ceiling Task Force, the Sacramento Diversity Fellowship Committee and is one of the founding members of the Westlake Charter School, a public school created by parents and teachers in 2005. In 2010 she was honored to receive the Women Who Mean Business Award from the Sacramento Business Journal and in 2017 was honored by the Women Lawyers of Sacramento with the Frances Newell Carr Achievement award.
