The State Bar of California admitted him to practice that same year, and he also routinely practices before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.Highly active in his legal community, Mr. Spillane is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, where he has served as co-chair for the entertainment and litigation sections. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and the Los Angeles Copyright Society, where he once served on the board of governors.
