- Attorney James D. Tawney is a partner at the El Paso law firm of Flores, Tawney & Acosta PC. Since co-founding the law firm, Mr. Tawney has focused his practice on providing high-quality legal representation to victims of negligence living in West Texas and neighboring southern New Mexico. He decided to further his education at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he earned his law degree in 2010. Later that same year, the State Bar of Texas granted him admission and the State Bar of New Mexico followed suit in 2011. Today, he serves the injured residents of both states.Over the past decade, Mr. Tawney has earned a reputation as a skilled trial attorney and compassionate legal professional. He is a member of a number of organizations, including the El Paso Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the El Paso County Trial Lawyer Association, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors, and the American Association for Justice.
