He practiced at Fenwick & West in Silicon Valley until 2004, where he was an intellectual-property litigator. He returned to Nashville in 2004 to practice at Waller, where he supplemented his practice with commercial law. He left Waller to start Aaron & Sanders with Tara Aaron in 2011, so he could practice intellectual-property law full time.
