After law school, served for two years as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Jennifer G. Zipps of the United States District Court, District of Arizona. Achieved the third highest score on the February 2011 Arizona bar examination. Prior to joining Cohen Dowd Quigley ("CDQ"), worked as a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office where successfully prosecuted three jury trials and ten bench trials. Since joining CDQ in August 2014, work as an associate at CDQ, handling complex commercial litigation, which includes (among other items) prosecuting and defending lawsuits in state court, federal court, bankruptcy court, state and federal appellate courts, and private binding arbitation as well as alternative dispute resolution.

Jami grew up in Highland Park, Illinois and moved to Arizona in 1996. She graduated from Chaparral High School and then she attended Scottsdale Community College. While at Scottsdale Community College, Jami was active with student government, Phi Theta Kappa and woman’s soccer team. Then, Jami attended California State University, Hayward where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in International Studies. Prior to becoming an attorney Jami had the privilege of representing NCAA Division III student athletes. As a representative, Jami spoke on the national convention floor on behalf of students and sat on the NCAA Olympic Liaison Committee too. Jami attended Michigan State University College of Law.
