- Chad G. Koop, partner at Stagnaro Hannigan Koop Co., LPA, represents clients in Ohio on family law matters including divorce, dissolution, collaborative divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, alimony, amendments and post-enactment enforcement. Juvenile justice, mediation and parental coordination. While he is a seasoned, successful litigator, he also works with clients to find solutions to their problems before they are forced into the courtroom. After earning a Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, Mr. Koop is now licensed to practice in Kentucky and Ohio, as well as before the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio . With over 70 hours of mediation training and more than half of it focused on specialized family / divorce mediation, he is ready to offer mediation to his clients. Koop was named a Top 40 Under 40 Family Attorney in Ohio by the American Society of Legal Advocates. As a member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Mr. Koop is confident that he can help all of his customers meet their goals and needs through mediation or a process. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Koop was involved in the dispute resolution program for Dayton Public Schools and now shows his passion for the community through his work at the Clermont County Family Law Clinic and the Hamilton County Family Law Clinic. He does not shy away from challenging, conflict-ridden and complex situations, but tackles them directly to protect his customers.
