Kevin P. Hartley studied at The University of Tennessee College of Law and graduated in 2010. After passing the bar exam, he was admitted to legal practice in 2010.

Rick is a full-time intellectual-property litigator, handling lawsuits and other disputes related to copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents and publicity rights, as well as more exotic creatures like the Stored Communications Act. From 2012 to 2014, Rick was also an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt Univeristy Law School, teaching Copyright Law. His clients are start-ups, individuals and small to medium-sized businesses, some in Nashville, and some out of town. He is a former chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Nashville Bar Association, and with Tara Aaron, maintains the blog The IP Breakdown.Rick received his law degree from Vanderbilt in 2000. He practiced at Fenwick & West in Silicon Valley until 2004, where he was an intellectual-property litigator. He returned to Nashville in 2004 to practice at Waller, where he supplemented his practice with commercial law. He left Waller to start Aaron & Sanders with Tara Aaron in 2011, so he could practice intellectual-property law full time.

J. Leigh Griffith studied at Vanderbilt University Law School and graduated in 1976. After passing the bar exam, he was admitted to legal practice in 1976.
