Aruna represents employees, unions, and employee benefits trust funds in state and federal courts and administrative agencies tasked with enforcing labor, labor and civil rights laws. Since 2003 she has also been part of the PERS team of her company and represents public employees in their struggle to safeguard old-age provision before the legislature and the courts. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (ACDI) and previously chaired the Executive Committee of the OSB Department of Labor and Employment. She studied law at Tulane Law School and Creighton University School of Law, and earned her bachelor's degree with honors from Wellesley College.
