He left Waller to start Aaron & Sanders with Tara Aaron in 2011, so he could practice intellectual-property law full time.

J. Leigh Griffith studied at Vanderbilt University Law School and graduated in 1976. After passing the bar exam, he was admitted to legal practice in 1976.
