- Nancy D. Kellman has practiced matrimonial law for over 30 years in White Plains, New York and focuses on issues of divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, pre and postnuptial agreements, relocation issues and more. She represents clients in White Plains and Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess and Putnam counties, as well as throughout the New York City area.Ms. Kellman is highly experienced in litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation. She has experience in many complex issues in child custody, including international child custody disputes, child abduction and the Hague Convention. She represents clients in high net worth cases involving property distribution and support.As a trained collaborative law practitioner, she is skilled at achieving fair settlements outside of the courtroom, helping parties to resolve their disputes in a team-based approach. As a mediator, she helps parties navigate through a difficult and challenging time in their lives, helping them to fully understand their options and to make their own informed decisions.Ms. Kellman is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She also serves on the admissions committee for the organization's New York chapter. Ms. Kellman active in the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association Family Law Sections, serving on their executive committees.Other professional organizations she belongs to include the White Plains Bar Association; New York State Council on Divorce Mediation. A frequent speaker at professional seminars and conferences, Ms. Kellman has also authored articles for legal publications.Over the course of her career Ms. Kellman has been honored for her achievements in the legal profession. She is a recipient of the Pace University School of Law Pioneer of Justice and Equality for Women and Law award.
