Adelita Orefice provides regulatory and transactional advice to a wide range of healthcare organizations and individual providers. She brings more than 20 years of federal and state government experience to her practice, including serving in Rhode Island as Director of Elderly People, Director of Labor and Education, Acting Secretary to the Executive Bureau for Health and Human Services, and Secretary of State in charge of oversight for the Ministry of Health. She is certified in healthcare compliance, a board member of PACE RI and a member of the Rhode Island State Advisory Committee of the United States Civil Rights Commission. Orefice acquired their A.B. from Harvard University and her M.P.A. from the University of Maryland in College Park. She comes into law as a second career after earning her J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and is admitted to the Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island schools.
