- As the founding attorney of the Law Office of Lenore Glaser in Boston, Massachusetts, Lenore M. Glaser focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defense and immigration law. She represents clients in cases involving drug charges, weapons charges and other matters, both for misdemeanors and more serious felonies. She represents clients in the Boston metropolitan area.During her more than three decades of practicing law in Massachusetts, Ms. Glaser has also demonstrated a commitment to professional education. She has taught courses at the University of Massachusetts and Brandeis University on subjects, including criminal law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law and advanced legal reasoning. She has written articles for professional publications on immigration and criminal defense matters and co-authored an article and seminar for working lawyers entitled "The Immigration Consequences of a Criminal Conviction."Ms. Glaser earned her law degree at Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, she earned her undergraduate degree from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She went on to study Mexican history and Spanish at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City. She speaks both English and Spanish.Early in her legal career, Ms. Glaser worked on housing issues for a community legal services organization. She later served as a staff attorney for a Hispanic community social services agency in Boston for three years before entering private practice.In addition to her law practice, Ms. Glaser has also been active in a number of professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
