- Attorney Michael R. Cruise is an associate attorney at the Honolulu law firm of Leavitt Yamane & Soldner. Later that same year, the state of Hawaii approved Mr. Cruise to practice law in its courtrooms. Over the more than 15 years that have passed since he began his career, he has earned a reputation as a dedicated client advocate.Mr. Cruise's abilities and dedication have earned him a place among the leading lawyers in Hawaii. As a result, he has received a number of honors for his work in the area of personal injury law. He holds an "Excellent" Avvo rating, and he is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in the forum is limited to only those attorneys who have secured at least $2 million for a client in a verdict or settlement, and only approximately 1 percent of the nation's attorneys are members.Attorney Cruise has also received honors from within the legal community. He is the president-elect of the Hawai'i Association for Justice, and he is a member of a number of other legal associations, including the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. He is also an active member of his local community. He is a member of the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i and the Hawai'i Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice.
