Frank Gilstrap has practiced appellate law for over 40 years. He has briefed and argued over 200 cases, including cases before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, all fourteen Texas Courts of Appeal, and bankruptcy appeals before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.He has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law since the specialty was first recognized in 1989, and he has been honored to serve for fifteen years on the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee (the "Rules Committee"), where he heads the subcommittee on judgments.Frank Gilstrap is a partner at Hill Gilstrap, P.C. in Arlington; he represents businesses, individuals and local governments throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
