Her criminal defense experience includes handling misdemeanors and felonies such as aggravated assault, armed robbery, child molestation, murder, obstruction and shoplifting. Along with criminal defense, Ms. Chapman represents individuals and families in personal injury and family law matters. Her family law practice involves helping clients with matters involving divorce, adoption, alimony, child custody and child support. She also represents Georgia residents who have been injured or lost a loved one due to negligence, providing compassionate service and aggressive advocacy on their behalf.Staying involved in her community is important to Ms. Chapman. She is a member of the Augusta Bar Association, Young Lawyers of Augusta, and the Junior League. She is a graduate of Leadership Augusta and currently serves as the treasurer of Imagination Station and the president of the Augusta Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.Ms. Chapman received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, receiving honors for litigation. Courts she has appeared before include various Georgia state courts, the Southern District of Georgia federal court, the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
