- Will O. (Trip) Walton III is the founder of the law firm Walton, P.C. in Auburn, Alabama. He focuses on litigation and represents residents of the cities of Auburn and Opelika and the surrounding areas of central and eastern Alabama and western Georgia in relation to personal injury and death from motor vehicle accidents, train collisions, liability for premises and dog bite attacks. Mr. Walton also draws on his experience as a prosecutor in providing vigorous defense to clients charged with driving under the influence, drug and narcotics violations, and other criminal offenses. Graduated from Auburn University, where he was a member of the university's football and debate teams, Mr. Walton then attended the University of Alabama Law School and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1984. After graduating from law school, he served as an assistant district attorney with the Montgomery District Attorney pursuing serious crimes including murder, arson, and drug offenses. Mr. Walton then joined a private practice and was a partner in an Auburn law firm before founding the Walton, PC law firm in 2001. He was admitted to the bar in Alabama and Georgia and before the US District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the US Supreme Court. By actively participating in various professional associations including the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, he keeps abreast of the latest developments in his practice Current and the Alabama Association for Justice.
