- Attorney Thomas A. Klint has been representing injured people in workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability matters for more than 30 years. President and managing partner at the Coon Rapids, Minnesota, law firm Midwest Disability, PA, he represents injured workers throughout Minnesota.A graduate of St. John’s University, located in Collegeville, Minnesota, Mr. Klint earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He has been licensed to practice in all Minnesota state courts since 1983.Mr. Klint has said that when he was growing up, one of his siblings became disabled after a football accident and another suffered debilitating post-traumatic stress disorder after serving in the Vietnam War. Still another sibling was born with Down syndrome. Mr. Klint has said that seeing how disability benefits helped his siblings inspired him to dedicate his life to helping the injured and disabled to receive the benefits they deserve.In addition to his law career, Mr. Klint is an active participant in professional organizations including the Minnesota Association for Justice, where he serves on the Workers’ Compensation Committee. In 2010, he founded an organization called Premier Disability Services, LLC, a service that allows individuals in all 50 states access to representation from a disability attorney.At several points in his career, Mr. Klint has received honors and awards in recognition of his achievements in the legal community and for helping Minnesota residents who have been injured or are disabled. Among other honors, Minnesota Law & Politics featured him in its list of the top 40 workers’ compensation attorneys in the state. He was recognized as one of the 10 best workers compensation attorneys in Minnesota by the American Institute of Legal Counsel as well as the top 100 national trial lawyers.
