- Estate planning matters require personalized attention and a keen understanding of state and federal laws. For decades, Sibylle Grebe has been helping people in Torrance, Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles and Redondo Beach, California, to develop solutions for issues surrounding probate and conservatorships. As a partner at Conover & Grebe, LLP, she has worked with a number of families needing assistance with the following: trust administration, elder abuse, wills, special needs planning and pet trusts.Ms. Grebe's legal career is rooted in her diverse education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from California State University Long Beach before receiving a Juris Doctor from the Southwestern Law School in 1989. She also holds an estate planning certificate of achievement from Emory University. She also is Fluent in German.Her legal knowledge and years of experience enables Ms. Grebe to collaborate with clients in designing a sound strategy that targets their goals. Her customized approach has resulted in a number of successes, for which Ms. Grebe has earned honors such as recognition in Lawyer Monthly's Women in Law 2015; an Avvo "Superb" rating; inclusion in The National Advocates: Top 100; and earning Healthcare and Elder Law Programs' Legacy Award.Ms. Grebe enjoys presenting to peers and other audiences about her experience as an estate planning attorney. In addition to these lectures, she is active with several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, The State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the South Bay Bar Association. Ms. Grebe also holds memberships in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., the Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys and the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform.
