- The founder of Arizona Family Law Attorneys, Shawnna R. Riggers focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, she provides advice and counsel to people throughout Maricopa County whose marriages are coming to an end and who are thus having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex assets and debts, child custody and visitation, and alimony and child support. A forceful advocate for her clients in the courtroom, Ms. Riggers often helps her clients avoid the uncertainty and expense of a trial by assisting them in reaching an accord on some of these matters through a negotiated settlement.In addition to her matrimonial practice, Ms. Riggers works with clients who are seeking the enforcement of or modification to existing support and parenting orders. Ms. Riggers is admitted to practice before all Arizona state courts.Ms. Riggers attended Arizona State University, where she majored in marketing and received a Bachelor of Science in 2002. Her legal education came at Seattle University School of Law, and she was a research assistant before being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2005. After graduation, Ms. Riggers was an associate at a law firm in Missoula, Montana, before moving back to Arizona in 2007 and eventually opening her own firm in 2010. Her professional affiliations include the family law and juvenile law sections of the State Bar of Arizona.
