The Managing Partner of Stottlemyer & Associates located in Atlanta, Georgia, Sarah E. Stottlemyer focuses her workers' compensation practice on helping injured employees seek compensation from insurance companies and navigate the difficult process of Georgia's workers' compensation system. While many of her Clients have suffered injuries to their backs, necks, and lower and upper extremities, Ms. Stottlemyer also handles car accidents that occurred on the job, carpal tunnel and repetitive use injuries, heart attacks suffered at work, paralysis, crush injuries and amputations. She also assists victims who have lost their hearing or vision as well as those who have suffered catastrophic injuries, those injuries that prevent the injured worker from returning to work. Finally, Ms. Stottlemyer helps family members recover compensation for a loved one's death that happened while they were on the job. Ms. Stottlemyer's goal is to protect those who have been injured at work from being further victimized by insurance companies during the claims process.In 2001, Ms. Stottlemyer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree. She then went on to receive her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004. While attending law school, Ms. Stottlemyer participated in the Jean-Pictet international moot court competition and served as an Editor of the Journal of International Law. She is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Georgia, as well as serves as an Officer for the Workers' Compensation Claimant's Bar and the Executive Committee for the Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group. Sarah is also the President of Holiday Helping Hands, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit she created to help children of injured workers during the holidays. Admitted to practice in Georgia, Ms. Stottlemyer assists clients in the Atlanta metro area, as well as Clients located all over the state of Georgia.
