An experienced trial lawyer, Sally Lawing devotes her practice exclusively to the representation of patients and their families in medical malpractice cases. Because of her concentrated focus on medical malpractice issues, she is able to provide detailed insight, strategic counsel and strong representation for each of her clients.In 1982, Ms. Lawing graduated with honors and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in the same year. Prior to 1999, Ms. Lawing represented hospitals and medical malpractice insurers throughout North Carolina. In 1999, she began representing plaintiffs, and in 2004, she established The Lawing Firm, P.A.. Although the firm’s office is located in Greensboro, Ms. Lawing handles case throughout the state.Ms. Lawing is an active member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the Greensboro and North Carolina Bar Associations. In addition, she has also been elected to the the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
