- Robert Norfleet focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's office in Kansas City, Missouri, he provides representation to clients residing in the greater metropolitan area who have suffered economic and noneconomic losses as a result of the negligence of other persons or entities. The types of cases that Mr. Norfleet has been involved in have arisen out of nursing home abuse, truck and other motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, boating accidents, and surgical and medication errors and other forms of medical malpractice.Mr. Norfleet has been able to obtain numerous high-dollar settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of his plaintiff clients. Some of his notable successes have included a $2 million settlement for a client whose spinal cord was damaged during a surgical procedure and a $700,000 jury verdict for a victim of a motorcycle accident.A native of Missouri, Mr. Norfleet attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City on an academic scholarship as an undergraduate, and he received several school awards before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 2004. Remaining on campus, he pursued his legal studies at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, also on an academic scholarship, and he served on the Moot Court Executive Board before being awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2007.Admitted to practice in both Missouri and Kansas, Mr. Norfleet is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. His professional affiliations include the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the American Association for Justice.
