- Richard E. Samdperil is an attorney at Samdperil & Welsh, PLLC, in Exeter, New Hampshire. Mr. Samdperil has more than 20 years of experience and serves clients in New Hampshire cities, including Brentwood, Candia, Derry, Dover, Durham, Epping, Exeter, Hampton, Manchester, Plaistow, Portsmouth, Raymond, Rochester, Rye, Salem and Seabrook.Attorney Samdperil devotes his practice to criminal defense and personal injury law. He has handled criminal cases involving annulment of criminal records, assaults, arson, domestic violence, drug possession and sales, habitual offenders, ignition interlock devices, license restoration, murder, robbery, sexual assaults, statutory rape, theft and underage DUI. His personal injury experience includes litigating matters involving auto accidents and other types of torts.Throughout his career, Mr. Samdperil has appeared in a variety of proceedings, including administrative license suspension hearings, CDL hearings and motor vehicle administrative hearings. Along with practicing in New Hampshire state courts, he has handled appeals at the Supreme Court level.Using his knowledge of criminal law, Mr. Samdperil has lectured on various criminal subjects and served as a contributing author to criminal defense publications. He is a former adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law and Saint Anselm College.Mr. Samdperil is a member of the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New Hampshire Bar Association and served on the organization’s ethics committee. He is also active in his local community and sits on the board of directors for the Seacoast Science Center.Mr. Samdperil earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law since 1995.
