She then went on to pursue her legal education at the University of Georgia School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2004. Mrs. Harris is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts.Mrs. Harris was inducted into the Fulton County Daily Report’s Verdicts Hall of Fame after securing a $16.5 million jury award for an accident caused by a defective tire design by Michelin North America. In 2014, she was one of the attorneys presented with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's Courageous Pursuit of Justice Award for her work on a wrongful death case involving the death of a man while in the care of a drug and alcohol facility. She has been named to both The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 and The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.
