Patrick J. Hagerty is Vice President of Gray, Ritter & Graham, PC, in St. Louis, Missouri. Focusing his practice on civil litigation, he represents individuals who have been harmed by the negligent acts or omissions of others in matters involving medical malpractice, product liability, motor vehicle, railroad and maritime accidents, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death.After graduating from Quincy University with a B.S. in 1981, Mr. Hagerty earned his J.D. in 1985 from the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served as assistant managing editor of the St. Louis University Law Journal. Admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the Central District of Illinois as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 6th, 7th and 8th Circuits.Mr. Hagerty has been admitted as a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and is an Advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Hagerty also serves as a member of the Constitutional Review Committee for MATA. In 2004, he received MATA’s President’s Award. He is an active member in the Railroad Law section of the American Association for Justice. He is a former board member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms, which is dedicated to advancing civility, integrity and professionalism in the practice of law.Mr. Hagerty has worked with Trial Lawyers Care, a landmark pro bono program originally formed to provide free legal services to victims of the Sept. 11 attacks, and has served on the boards of both the Public Justice Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Gateway Chapter.
