Eric Rayz, Esquire, is a graduate of Temple University with summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. As a student, Mr. Rayz received the H. Thomas and Dorothy Willits Hallowell Fellowships and was the President's Scholar Award. Mr. Rayz received his PhD from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law, where he was an associate and editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. Mr. Rayz was a Justice Attorney Sandra Schultz Newman of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for two years and co-authored an article in the University of Pittsburgh Law Review entitled "The Death Penalty: The Impact of Adding Aggravators to Pennsylvania Death Penalty Laws." . Mr. Rayz has extensive experience handling matters in federal and state courts and is admitted to the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the US Appeals Court for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New York State Third Judicial Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. In January 2010, Mr. Rayz was appointed to the Board of Appeal for the Lower Southampton Ward in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In January 2011, Mr. Rayz was appointed to the Board of Auditors for Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and was subsequently elected chairman. In 2016, Mr. Rayz was appointed to the Planning Commission for Lower Moreland Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
