- Nicholas J. Slinde founded the Slinde Nelson Stanford law firm in Portland, Oregon, where his practice focuses on helping entrepreneurs create and maintain successful businesses. With areas of activity such as real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, employment contracts and dispute resolution, Mr. Slinde offers a variety of services for companies of all sizes and industries. Slinde studied journalism and public speaking at the University of Iowa. After graduating, he attended the University of Oregon School of Law and received his law degree in 2000. He is admitted to the bar with the Washington State Bar Association and the Oregon State Bar, including their construction and commercial litigation departments. He also has experience working with the Multnomah Bar Association, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and the US District Court for the District of Oregon. However, what sets Mr. Slinde apart as a business lawyer is his own experience as an entrepreneur. As the founder of numerous companies, Mr. Slinde understands what it takes to get a company up and running.
