- Representing the people of Michigan in cases of personal injury and medical malpractice, Michael T. Ratton is founder of the Ratton Law Group PC. Over the course of almost three decades, he has litigated many trials and recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for those who have been injured in auto accidents, motorcycle accidents or any other accident due to the negligence of another.Along with accident cases, Mr. Ratton also handles matters of wrongful death, birth trauma, civil infractions, misdemeanors, divorce, nursing home negligence and probate. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Michigan and before the U.S. Court of Claims in Washington, D.C., the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.After obtaining an undergraduate degree from Beloit College, Mr. Ratton attended the Rush University College of Nursing in Chicago and graduated in 1984. While attending Detroit College of Law, he continued work at Detroit Medical Center as a registered nurse, and he earned his Juris Doctor in 1989.Those who have been injured by the negligence or wrongdoing of another face may devastating life changes along with medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering.
