- Handling a number of civil litigation cases on behalf of plaintiffs, Matthew T. Marcellino represents clients around Charlotte and Gastonia, North Carolina, as well as those surrounding Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is a partner at Marcellino & Tyson PLLC, where he takes on cases that involve family law, business litigation and corporate issues.With an Avvo “Superb” rating, Mr. Marcellino has a reputation for outstanding customer service and results-oriented strategizing. He has earned accolades such as being listed in the American Society of Legal Advocates’ Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 and being listed in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite.Prior to being licensed in North Carolina, Mr. Marcellino earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the College of Charleston in 2003. He then attended Tulane University Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2006.Mr. Marcellino strikes a balance between relentlessly pursuing a client’s goals while appreciating the sensitive nature of the situation. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina.Outside his practice, Mr. Marcellino is involved with the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and enjoys playing golf.
