Martin P. Mullaney is a partner at and the co-founder of Mullaney & Mullaney. Focusing his practice primarily on criminal defense matters from the firm's office in Skippack, Pennsylvania, he provides dedicated representation to clients throughout Montgomery County who have been charged with the commission of misdemeanor or felony offenses. Mr. Mullaney also has a background in family law, and in that regard, he provides assistance to people who are facing the end of their marriages and who are having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex assets and debts, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support.In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Mullaney has taken on a wide variety of cases, and he has been able to obtain bench or jury acquittals on behalf of many of his clients, while, in other instances, he has negotiated favorable plea bargain agreements with the prosecution. Some of the matters that he has been involved in have included homicide and other violent crimes, driving under the influence of alcohol, weapons violations, drug possession and distribution, and fraud and other white collar crimes. Mr. Mullaney also has handled appeals as well as conviction expungements.As an undergraduate, Mr. Mullaney attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and he received a Bachelor of Science in 1985. His legal education came at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1988. Prior to co-founding his current firm, Mr. Mullaney served as an assistant district attorney with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
