- Attorney Linda Mainenti Walsh is the founder and owner of Linda Mainenti Walsh, Esq., LLC, in Morristown, New Jersey. A highly accomplished attorney with more than 30 years of legal experience, Ms. Mainenti Walsh focuses her practice exclusively on family law. She serves the rights and interests of clients throughout Essex, Morris, Union, Sussex and Bergen counties who are going through a divorce or have some other serious domestic relations issue they need to address.Throughout her career, Ms. Mainenti Walsh has proven herself an invaluable legal advocate for her clients as they seek to resolve their conflicts and reach agreements with regard to child custody and support, property division, alimony, and other related matters. Well-versed in mediation, she strives to help her clients come to terms with their issues in the most efficient, cost-effective and amicable fashion possible; however, she will not hesitate to fight aggressively on behalf of her clients in court when necessary.Along with handling all aspects of divorce, Ms. Mainenti Walsh has notable experience handling same-sex family law matters and domestic violence situations. She currently serves on the Morris County Bar Association Professionalism Committee, and she has served as trustee for the organization as well as co-chair for the association's Family Law Committee. For the past 20 years, she has served as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in Morris County, and she is the former chair and former vice chair of the District X Ethics Committee.Among her most recent appointments, she serves as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Nominating Committee, Paralegal Committee and Professionalism Committee, and from 2014-2015, she served as trustee to the organization's Family Law Section Executive Committee. Ms. Mainenti Walsh also serves on the adjunct legal faculty at Montclair State University, and she has conducted numerous continuing legal education seminars across her region.A 1986 graduate of Montclair State University, she obtained her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1989. Along with practicing before all New Jersey state courts, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Supreme Court.
