- Kraig Marton primarily practices in the areas of employment law, first amendment law (defamation), and health care law (representing physicians and other professionals), although he also often handles complex litigated matters. In his health care practice, he has represented over 200 allopaths and osteopaths in front of their boards, and has also represented many chiropractors, nurses, physical therapists, homeopaths, podiatrists, naturopaths, and others in front of their licensing boards. He also assists healthcare professionals with other issues from medical malpractice, peer review, regulatory compliance, insurance coverage to managed care issues.In his defamation practice, he primarily represents Plaintiffs, but he also has defneded many wrongly sued defendants. He has brought suits against most of the major media in the state of Arizona, and is responsible for many of the noteworthy defamation decisions issued from Arizona Courts. He has also pursued the national media on occasion. In recent years he has focussed far more on internet law and internet defamation.In his employment practice, he primarily represents employees, but he represents employers, too. He has actively litigated many employment cases, including wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, and discrimination of all kinds. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyer's Association and has served on the Executive Council of the State Bar Labor Law Section.
