As a Partner at Butler Giraudo & Meister, P.C., Kelly Giraudo is a family law attorney representing clients in Peoria, Morton and Eureka, Illinois. She handles legal matters related to property division, divorce, child support, custody and visitation, appeals, and adoption for families and individuals who are going through what can be an extremely trying time. For her work as an accomplished attorney, Southern Illinois University School of Law awarded her the Women in Leadership Trailblazer Award in 2018.In 2005, Ms. Giraudo graduated cum laude from Mid-Continent University with a Bachelor of Science. She then attended Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2009. During her undergraduate studies, she received the Mid-Continent Writing Excellence Award, and in law school, she was a quarter-finalist for the Moot Court Intramural Competition and received the Second Best Brief Award.Ms. Giraudo enjoys being involved with many professional organizations. She is a member and former President of the Tazewell County Bar Association, and is now Chair of the Substantive Law Committee's Family Law Section of the Peoria County Bar Association. She is a standing member of the committee on Women and the Law within the Illinois State Bar Association, and is a member of the Inaugural Class of the ISBA Leadership Acadamy. Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, Ms. Giraudo does more than work within the community. She is also past President, current Community Service Chair and serves on the Board of the Kiwanis Club of Pekin, whose mission is to serve the children of the world. She also actively gives back to the community through her work with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, YMCA Frostbite 5K, Delta Theta Phi Toy and Clothing Drive and recently participated in CASA's "CASAblanca Dancing with our Local Stars."
