- As a partner with Kennedy & Dolan, a law firm based in Rockville, Maryland, Kathleen A. Dolan focuses her law practice on criminal defense. She represents people in Montgomery County and Prince George's County and throughout Maryland who are facing criminal charges, including DUI and traffic violations, drug offenses, sex crimes, violent crimes and more.Ms. Dolan is admitted to practice law in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., courts. In her more than 20 years as a lawyer, she has taken more than 120 cases all the way through a jury trial and has represented clients in hundreds of bench trials. Besides her private practice, Ms. Dolan serves as a panel attorney with the public defender's office, filling in as a defense attorney when conflicts of interest prevent the public defender from representing defendants.Ms. Dolan earned her law degree at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dolan earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts.Over the course of her career, Ms. Dolan has represented clients in a number of high-profile cases, including several that were heavily scrutinized in the media.
