Katherine Mazaheri-Franze is the founder and executive attorney of the Mazaheri law firm. She continues to practice litigation and regularly represents plaintiffs in all areas of labor law, including litigation in state and federal courts, in mediation before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (DOL) and Oklahoma, Employment Security Commission (OESC). She has successfully handled litigation involving claims for wrongful dismissal, sexual harassment / assault, workplace discrimination (based on race, age, gender, sexual stereotyping, pregnancy, national origin and disability), and retaliation, and disputes related to wage and hourly matters, Vacation, confidentiality and non-compete obligations, violations of the employee manual and company guidelines, and violations of employment contracts. For over a decade, Katherine has successfully led the MazaheriLaw firm, which has built a solid reputation for handling cases attacking various social injustices, resulting in massive recoveries for customers. As part of her employment practice, Katherine often trains and advises employers on a variety of workplace-related issues, including recruitment, discipline, terminations, policies and procedures (including creating and reviewing employment manuals), drug and alcohol testing, anti-discrimination and harassment , Employment contracts, severance pay agreements and confidentiality agreements. More recently, she has had the opportunity to educate tribal workers about sexual harassment and train more than 400 workers on the job. She was also a speaker at this year's Oklahoma Bar Association's Labor Law Update for Attorney Education.
