- Kate Stenlake founded The Law Office of Katherine Stenlake, and now represents clients in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Prince Georges County and the Baltimore, Maryland, metropolitan area. Ms. Stenlake handles cases of immigration including asylum, removal defense, employment petitions, special immigrant juvenile status, divorce and separation, family petitions, waivers, citizenship and naturalization, and child support.A member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Maryland State Bar Association, Ms. Stenlake is committed to advancing the rights of immigrants throughout the country. She earned a degree in sociology from Towson University Honors College before working in a law firm for two years. After her experience there, she decided to enter law school and, in 2011, she earned a Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law.Since 2011, Ms. Stenlake has been admitted to practice in the state courts of Maryland. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to giving each client individualized representation for all legal immigration matters. Along with immigration law, Ms. Stenlake also handles family and domestic law for those who are going through a divorce and need someone to handle the legal process while they focus on their future.Ms. Stenlake is passionate about helping families, whether it is through the immigration process or minimizing the trauma that is often present when children and adults go through a divorce.
