In preparation for his legal career, Joseph F. Ricchiuti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Villanova University. Today he represents clients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on civil litigation, malpractice, product liability, insurance claims, and personal injury cases. As a valued member of Young Ricchiuti Caldwell & Heller, LLC, Ricchiuti continues to focus on advocating the rights of its customers. He is a mediator and arbitrator with over 100 hours of formal mediation training and conducts approximately 65 mediations and arbitrations per year. With a passion for continuing education and training, Mr. Ricchiuti has lectured for organizations such as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, and the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University. He was a faculty member of the Academy of Advocacy at Temple University's Beasley School of Law for over 25 years during which time he sought to improve litigation skills with new lawyers. Ricchiuti is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. From complex medical negligence cases to printing press product liability cases, Mr. Ricchiuti has handled a wide variety of case types throughout his career. He also received a substantive judgment on a client from a former mayor and the City of Philadelphia. In order to better protect citizens and stay in the community, Mr. Ricchiutu has lectured doctors on medical malpractice and works regularly on advisory boards of organizations that help children and families with special needs.
