Jeffrey Curcio represents clients before the IRS Review, Appeal, and Collection departments. His primary focus is on income tax issues for all types of taxpayers, but he also deals with planning and controversy regarding other tax issues at the federal and state levels. Jeff was Managing Partner of the firm from 2002 to 2004. Jeff also has an active business practice representing clients in many industries including accounting, advertising, agriculture, architecture, consulting, construction, engineering, healthcare, and law. His representation encompasses all phases of business consulting, including formation through dissolution of partnerships, limited liability companies and companies. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting contracts in areas such as employment, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, advisory and purchase and sale agreements. In addition to his active tenure, Jeff served as the Tax Department of the Sacramento County Bar Association from 1991 to 1992 as chairman. He is also a member of the Healthcare and Economics departments of the County Bar. He was admitted to the California bar in 1982 and is admitted to the bar in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California and the US Tax Court. Jeff was Associate Professor at Golden Gate University's School of Taxation from 1987 to 2003 and was honored with the Outstanding Faculty award. He participated in statewide presentations by the California Chamber of Commerce on the California Limited Liability Company Act. Jeff has also been a seminar leader for many tax and business programs. Jeff graduated from California State University at Hayward with a B.S. Degree. He holds a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxes from Boston University. Jeff also attended Salzburg University and received a certificate in International Legal Studies and Jurisprudence. He is a member of the Traynor Society School of Law at the McGeorge School of Law and has received the American Jurisprudence Awards for highest grades in the classes of contracts and business associations.
