Gregory B. Wood is an alternative dispute resolution attorney in Northridge, California. Mr. Wood has more than three decades of experience in the areas of intellectual property litigation and alternative dispute resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. He also serves as an entrepreneur coach and participates in matters throughout the Los Angeles region.After earning a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and a master’s degree in control systems engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, Mr. Wood went on to obtain his law degree from the University of La Verne College of Law while working for an aircraft corporation. He has been admitted to practice law since 1975 and is also admitted to appear before various federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.Mr. Wood also has extensive training in arbitration and mediation and has authored articles and given presentations for a variety of groups on these and other topics. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous honors and awards from various organizations for his contributions to the legal profession. In 2015, he was recognized by the nonprofit organization Joni and Friends for his many years serving as chairman of the board. Mr. Wood serves on several groups and panels including the American Arbitration Association’s commercial arbitration panel, the Los Angeles Superior Court’s alternative dispute resolution panel and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s fee arbitration panel. He is also a member of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California’s alternative dispute resolution panel and the mediation panel of the California Department of Insurance.
